Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE:

 

The FG Supply Planner III is responsible for balancing supply and demand for finished goods—both manufactured and purchased—to achieve the company financial plan and meet customer service levels while optimizing factory production mix and working capital. This role is pivotal in driving inventory efficiency, supporting cross-functional collaboration, and improving supply planning systems and processes. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Execute all Supply Planning functions in support of LII Annual Financial Plan.  
  • Validate and meet monthly inventory days of supply targets by product code. 
  • Maintain planning processes to prevent excess inventory and support inventory movement coordination across a population of SKU’s 
  • Develop and execute pre-build schedules to smooth manufacturing within financial constraints. 
  • Collaborate with demand planning to ensure quality of demand data. 
  • Contribute to strategic inventory segmentation (MTO/MTS), stock classification, and lead time expectations. 

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

 

Education & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Industrial Engineering. 
  • 5+ years in Inventory Management, Materials Planning or Production Planning. 
  • 3+ years in Supply Planning and configuration of planning systems in SAP (SAP, S4 Hana, IBP/APO/SNP). 
  • APICS CPIM or ASCM CSCP Certification preferable 

Technical Skills 

  • Advanced knowledge of: 
  • SAP APO/DP, GATP, IBP, Master Data 
  • MRP (Material Requirements Planning) and MRP II (Manufacturing Resource Planning) and all the associated inputs and outputs 
  • Strong understanding of PSI (Projecting Inventory based on Production, Sales, and Inventory) and supply plan modeling. 
  • Familiarity with the impact of sales initiatives on volume variability. 
  • Familiarity with multi-factory and multi-site distribution network planning 

Soft Skills & Leadership 

  • Process driven with an open mind for continuous improvement. 
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills (Factory Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory Deployment, Ops, Sales, Ops, etc.). 
  • Proven ability to effectively manage change in dynamic environments. 
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring peers. 
  • Effective communicator and problem solver.

 

 

 

This position is based in the office, Monday through Friday. 

 

WHAT WE OFFER: 

 

Compensation:

This is a salaried exempt role. The salary range for this role and market is between $75,000 -94,000 annually.  Factors that may affect the starting salary include geography/market and the individual’s tenure, performance, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

 

Employees in this role are also eligible for annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.  Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
