This person will play a crucial role in leading key digital products across B2B ecommerce and other areas. The Product Owner will be responsible for partnering with technology teams, defining roadmap and backlog, and driving value for customers and stakeholders. This highly visible role requires cross functional partnership, strategic thinking, and technical fluency to drive high impact digital solutions.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Effectively communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to the technology team, ensuring mutual understanding and driving forward with one focus.
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring its alignment with the overall product strategy and key business priorities.
  • Orchestrate feature development and craft clear and concise user stories.
  • Define clear acceptance criteria and actively participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, comprehend user needs, and integrate valuable feedback into the dynamic product process.
  • Collaborate with the development team to plan and prioritize releases, ensuring timely delivery of the most valuable features.
  • Work closely with the digital and technology teams, including the release coordinator, to identify impactful changes for implementation and support stakeholders and customers.
  • Skillfully communicate the product roadmap, release plans, and feature updates to both internal teams and external stakeholders, fostering transparency and understanding.
  • Identify and proactively manage risks related to product development and delivery, implementing measures to mitigate potential issues.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by optimizing the product development process and maintaining a growth mindset to learn new knowledge and skills.
  • Define and meticulously track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success and impact of delivered features, facilitating data-driven decision-making.

WHAT DRIVES SUCCESS

  • Trust: you engage positively with many audiences as a relationship builder – developers, designers, various business stakeholders, and leaders. You effectively understand others, build deep trust, and foster buy-in and partnership across teams.

You can effectively make a point in a single PowerPoint slide as well as in a cross functional team meeting. You bridge different teams together to facilitate alignment and progress.
  • Quality: You understand decisions have tradeoffs. You can understand pros and cons of options, clearly articulate them, and evaluate effectively to drive towards choices that bring teams forward. You have a track record of making solid decisions on complex topics.
  • Results: You care for customers. You want to resolve pain points now while envisioning even better product experiences for users in the future. Ultimately, you find a way to effect tangible impact for our business and customers.
