Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

 

Under immediate supervision, assists mechanical engineers in the planning and testing of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.

  • Sets up and tests complete prototype units and subassemblies under operational conditions.
  • Devises, fabricates, and assembles new or modified mechanical components or assemblies.
  • Record test procedures and results using numerical and graphical data.
  • Helps prepare proposals and cost estimates.
  • Estimates work load to establish completion dates.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

Compensation:

 

This position includes a base salary and bonus plan. The compensation range is $44,200 to $54,600 for this role. Compensation is based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and education.
