Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Order validation and processing
  • Answer phone calls promptly to provide status updates for customers
  • Receive and review customer orders via online platforms/customer portal
  • Accurately enter orders into SAP with all pertinent information
  • Verify pricing, product availability, and provide delivery information.
  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally to meet service levels.
  • Provide order updates and tracking as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and provide feedback to enhance the customer experience.
  • Work with other teams and departments as needed for resolution or updates. Supply Chain, Transportation, Distribution, Credit, Sales, Marketing, Technical Support, Applications, and others.
  • Quote and order parts by looking up parts and providing price and availability.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred.
    Requires strong abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time.
  • Some knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
  • This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • Knows some principles and processes for providing customer service.
  • This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Effective at written and verbal communication.
  • Has basic user knowledge of Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.

The compensation range for this position is approximately $xxk - $xxk and will be based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and education.
