Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

As an E-commerce Application Developer III, you will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-grade e-commerce solutions using SAP Commerce Cloud, Spring Boot, and Angular. You will work closely with architects, senior developers, and product owners to implement scalable, high-performance systems that enhance the customer experience.

Your role will focus on hands-on development, integration, and optimization of backend and frontend components, ensuring seamless functionality across the e-commerce platform.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Development & Optimization

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications within SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris).
  • Build and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services using Spring Boot and Microservices.
  • Extend SAP Commerce Cloud modules such as Product Content Management (PCM), Order Management, and Customer Service.
  • Enhance front-end features and integrations using Angular.
  • Improve performance, scalability, and reliability of the platform by troubleshooting and resolving issues.

Integration & Collaboration

  • Integrate SAP Commerce Cloud with external systems including payment gateways, ERP, CRM, and third-party APIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth end-to-end system functionality.
  • Support seamless integration between backend microservices and Angular frontends.

Quality Assurance & Documentation

  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to quality improvements.
  • Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and performance tests.
  • Document technical designs, API contracts, and integration specifications.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience

  • 6–8 years of professional software development experience.
  • At least 4–5 years of hands-on experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris).
  • Strong experience building Spring Boot Microservices and REST APIs.
  • Solid background in developing Angular-based front-end applications.
  • Experience working in agile, fast-paced development environments.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris), including OCC (Omni Commerce Connect).
  • Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and Microservices.
  • Experience with integration protocols: REST, SOAP, HTTP/HTTPS, JMS, WebSockets.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Maven, Jenkins, Git) and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
  • Knowledge of relational databases (SQL/Oracle/DB2) and caching frameworks (Redis, Hazelcast).
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

  • Adaptability to evolving technologies and project requirements.

WHAT WE OFFER:

 

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The salary range for this role and market is between $108,000-$141,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for a broad base bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.

This position is based 100% onsite in the office, Monday through Friday.
