Job Description

We are seeking a data-driven and strategic Senior Demand Planner to join our team. In this critical role, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing accurate demand forecasts to drive supply chain efficiency and support company growth. This position will engage closely with cross-functional teams, lead Integrated Business Planning (IBP) efforts, and contribute to process improvements across demand planning functions.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Forecasting and Analysis: Develop and maintain advanced demand forecasts, incorporating historical data, market trends, and statistical methods.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with supply chain teams to synchronize inventory and demand planning, ensuring minimal overstock and stockouts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, marketing, and operations to gather inputs for demand plans, leading monthly IBP meetings to ensure alignment.
  • Reporting and Insights: Create and maintain dashboards to monitor forecast accuracy and provide actionable insights.
  • Process Optimization: Lead demand planning process improvements, implementing new tools and methodologies to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing operation.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with demand planning software, statistical forecasting tools, and data visualization software (e.g., Excel, SAP IBP, Tableau).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and experience with statistical or machine learning techniques in demand forecasting.

What Will Make You Stand Out:

  • Experience improving forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and OTIF performance

  • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and present insights to leadership

  • Proven track record of turning complex data into clear, actionable recommendations

Location: West Columbia, SC (This position is 100% onsite, requiring attendance in the office 5 days a week, Monday-Friday.)

What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $75,000 - $98,280 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
