Job Description

Location: Richardson, TX (This position is 100% onsite at our headquarters in Richardson, TX, requiring attendance in-office 5 days a week, Monday-Friday.)

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

 

As the Senior Compensation Analyst, you will be responsible for the full scope of activities associated with the development and administration of compensation programs. Evaluates pay programs to ensure they are externally competitive and internally equitable with the goal of assisting in the attraction and retention of competent employees.

  • Leads administration of specific compensation programs for bonus, commissions, stock and base salary.
  • Analyzes positions and prepares job descriptions based on job responsibility questionnaires and personal interviews.
  • Audits evaluation of positions and application of existing classifications of jobs.
  • Participates in a variety of salary surveys, collects and analyzes information on the company's competitive position and sets internal pay.
  • Conducts analysis on special projects regarding incentive compensation, sales compensation, equity, base pay and similar complex programs.
  • Presents and recommends alternatives and assists in the preparation of management presentations.
  • Analyzes current compensation processes and procedures in order to make recommendations for improved accuracy and efficiency.
  • Leads efforts in implementing solutions.
  • Participates in the communication and implementation of various components of the pay programs, including the development and presentation of compensation training programs.
  • Investigates and recommends resolution on compensation compliance matters.
  • Acts as an internal compensation consultant to HR partners, as well as all levels of business leadership.
  • May provide project leadership to other junior compensation staff members.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires at least 5 years of compensation experience.
  • Degree in Business Management or Human Resource Management preferred.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation a plus.
  • Possess project management experience in the area of human resource programs.
  • Demonstrated skills in the area of consulting and influencing, as well as strong verbal and written communications.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and analytical skills required, with exceptional logical thought processes and deductive reasoning ability.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills including the ability to analyze data and create meaningful information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint. Access database skills a plus.

 

WHAT WE OFFER: 

 

Compensation:

This is a salaried exempt role. The salary range for this role and market is between $87,200 - 114,500 annually.  Factors that may affect the starting salary include geography/market and the individual’s tenure, performance, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

 

Employees in this role are also eligible for annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.  Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
