Heatcraft products are primarily used to preserve food and other perishables in supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, warehouses and distribution centers, in addition to other applications such as data centers, pharmaceutical and industrial process cooling.

Job Description

This is a 100% remote position, with the territory covering Oklahoma and the surrounding states.

 

As the Key Account Manager, you will develop new prospects and interact with existing customers to increase sales of refrigeration products and services in large national accounts.

  • Develop business with a few target national accounts.
  • Perform box load calculations and selects the correct products or assist customers in making product selections based on customers' needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations.
  • Negotiate prices and terms of sales and service agreements.
  • Insure high post-sales satisfaction, facilitating positive long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with customers.
  • Sets account and territory plans on an annual, quarterly, and monthly basis.
  • May coach and mentor less experienced sales representatives.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires at least 5 years of related experience.
  • Requires expert abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time.
  • Has the ability to acquire expert knowledge of box load calculation and refrigeration equipment selection.
  • Requires knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
  • This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • Knows principles and processes for providing customer service.
  • This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Effective at written and verbal communication.
  • Requires substantial industry and product knowledge.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.

Benefits

WHAT WE OFFER: 

 

Compensation: The total compensation range for this position is $142,000 to $185,500 and will be based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and education. Under the plan, target compensation is anticipated to be 75% base salary and 25% commission. New hires are guaranteed to receive at least the target commission for 1 year.  The competitive compensation plan also includes an uncapped bonus structure based on performance exceeding 100% of the plan across three individual categories. The bonus amount increases as performance surpasses quota, so the potential payout is not fixed and can grow as over-quota achievements increase.

Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 12 days paid time off, 2 paid well-being days, 1 paid volunteer day, 10 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year.
