Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

We are seeking a technically savvy leader to join our dynamic ADP team. As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for owning the portfolio of ADP Service Parts. This will include both sourced and manufactured service parts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and sourcing to ensure our parts offerings meet market demands and drive customer satisfaction. We are looking for a subject matter expert to develop comprehensive competitive analysis and “go-to market” plans.

 

Repair Parts Strategy and Planning:

  • Support the development and execution of a comprehensive strategy and roadmap aligned with our company objectives.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback analysis to identify opportunities.
  • Assess and determine requirements, features, and functionality, including technical documentations and technical product analysis.
  • Define the category market and collaborate with marketing teams to develop effective product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.

Full-Lifecycle Category Management:

  • Develop and maintain pricing across the Repair Parts category.
  • Provide support and training to internal and external teams by providing technical expertise, training, and product knowledge to drive successful product adoption and revenue growth.
  • Act as the internal technical SME to key partners, including marketing, sales, and the factory teams.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of related experience.
  • Engineering, design, application, or related experience, in the residential HVAC industry preferred.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:

  • Basic knowledge of residential HVAC systems and basic technical understanding of products.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical terms to product features and customer value proposition.

 

What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $90,400 - $118,650 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.

 

Benefits: Subject to applicable eligibility requirements, the following benefits are offered for this role: tuition reimbursement; medical, dental, and vision insurance; prescription drug coverage; 401(k) retirement plan; short-term disability insurance; 8 weeks paid birthing leave; 2 weeks paid bonding leave; life and long-term disability insurance.

 

Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 12 days paid time off, 2 paid well-being days, 1 paid volunteer day, 12 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year.
