Home Comfort Solutions (HCS): A $3.6B segment that manufacturers and markets a broad range of home heating and cooling equipment for both the residential replacement and new construction markets in North America. Its product lines – extending from the entry level market segment to the premium high efficiency market segment – include air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, packaged heating and cooling systems, HVAC parts and accessories.  HCS manufacturing facilities are located in Marshalltown, Iowa; Orangeburg, South Carolina; Grenada, Mississippi; and Saltillo, Mexico.

 

Building Climate Solutions (BCS): A $1.7B segment that provides indoor comfort solutions for low-rise office buildings, restaurants, retail establishments, distribution centers, schools, and other light commercial applications, as well as commercial refrigeration solutions to preserve food and other perishables in supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, warehouses, and distribution centers in North America.  Our HVAC service business focuses on full protection, preventive maintenance, planned replacement, installation, and recycling for schools, restaurants, and retail establishments on a national basis. HVAC products include packaged rooftop units, split systems, VRF and indoor air quality systems. Commercial refrigeration products include unit coolers, condensing units and compressorized racks. BCS manufacturing facilities are located in Stuttgart, Arkansas; Tifton, Georgia; Stone Mountain, Georgia; Tallassee, Alabama; Weatherford, Texas; Wheeling, West Virginia; Reno, Nevada; and Saltillo, Mexico.

 

Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

 

We are seeking a dynamic and results focused Director, Talent Acquisition (TA) to lead our U.S. and Canada recruiting function. This role oversees a high-performing team filling over 1,000 positions annually while driving innovation, efficiency, and an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.

 

The Director, TA will own the strategic direction for all talent acquisition in the U.S. and Canada and provide coaching and strategic oversight to TA teams in India and Mexico. The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking talent leader who thrives on building strong partnerships with business leaders, developing talent pipelines, and leveraging technology to deliver results.

 

The successful candidate will bring a passion for continuous improvement, data-driven decision making, and operational excellence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Strategic Leadership

  • Define, refine, and execute the Talent Acquisition strategy across U.S. and Canada.
  • Provide strategic oversight and mentorship to TA teams in India and Mexico, ensuring global alignment.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers to forecast talent needs and develop workforce plans.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a team of TA professionals to deliver excellence.
  • Build a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Foster a high-performance environment.

Recruitment Innovation & Operations

  • Maintain and evolve AI-powered recruiting tools to streamline sourcing, screening, job description generation, and interview scheduling.
  • Ensure continued reductions in time-to-fill, workload optimization, and recruiting efficiency.
  • Drive sourcing strategies to strengthen talent pipelines across all functions.

Hiring Excellence & Compliance

  • Oversee the ongoing training of Hiring Managers in Behavioral Based Interviewing to ensure quality, compliance, and consistency in selection.
  • Continue vendor partnerships, compliance initiatives, and process automation (background checks, I-9, E-Verify).
  • Measure and communicate key recruiting metrics to stakeholders.

Employer Branding & Candidate Experience

  • Continue to enhance our employer brand in partnership with Corporate Marketing to attract top talent.
  • Oversee careers site enhancements to deliver a best-in-class candidate experience.

Operational Efficiency & Cost Management

  • Scale internal recruiting capabilities to minimize third-party agency spend.
  • Drive cost savings through innovative process improvements and TA team enablement.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

 

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience, including managing teams.
  • Proven success leading high-volume hiring functions.
  • Strong track record of building, developing, and engaging high-performing teams.
  • Experience leveraging AI recruiting technologies and process automation.
  • Demonstrated ability to build talent pipelines.
  • Experience managing employer branding and candidate experience initiatives.
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on operational leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization.
  • Proven track record of driving process improvement and delivering results.

 

Other Work Requirements:  This is an on-site leadership role based in Richardson, TX, with occasional travel to other Lennox locations.
