WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

The Warranty Team Lead\Trainer plays a pivotal role in the development and performance of the Warranty Department. This individual will be responsible for training new and existing team members, refining warranty processes, supporting continuous improvement efforts, and ensuring consistent execution of company policies and procedures across the team. This is a hands-on leadership development and training role that combines technical warranty expertise with people development.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver training programs for Warranty Team Members, including onboarding, process updates, and people development.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in warranty processes, systems, and tools.
  • Support the implementation of new systems, procedures, or policies by training agents and ensuring adoption.
  • Coach Team Members to improve team performance, problem-solving, and customer service standards.
  • Monitor performance metrics and conduct gap analyses to identify training needs.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Upper Management, and Product teams to align training with organizational goals.
  • Create training materials, documentation, job aids, and SOPs tailored to warranty operations.
  • Provide ongoing support and mentorship to Team Members post-training to ensure continued success.
  • Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and make continuous improvements.
  • Assist with high volumes of phone and email inquiries during seasonal demand
  • Assume supervisory responsibilities when the supervisor is unavailable

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

  • Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires at least 5 years related experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Requires a working knowledge of products and parts.
  • Must have full knowledge of warranty review processes.
  • Must be able to provide work leadership and mentoring.
  • May require advanced problem solving.
  • Ability to navigate SAP and other relevant applications.

What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried non-exempt role. This means that employees are paid a salary and also receive overtime pay when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).  The starting salary range for this role and market is between $54,400 - $71,400 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

 

Employees in this role are also eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.

 

Benefits: Subject to applicable eligibility requirements, the following benefits are offered for this role: tuition reimbursement; medical, dental, and vision insurance; prescription drug coverage; 401(k) retirement plan; short-term disability insurance; 8 weeks paid birthing leave; 2 weeks paid bonding leave; life and long-term disability insurance.

 

Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 12 days paid time off, 2 paid well-being days, 1 paid volunteer day, 12 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year.
