Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

About the role: The Merchandising Specialist reports to the Manager, Merchandising. This role will lead and support efforts across multiple functions to plan and execute visual merchandising strategies, product launches, promotions and marketing programs to improve customer engagement and experience within the 230+ Lennox B2B store locations. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement merchandising plans to optimize aftermarket product sales and visibility across store and ecommerce channels
  • Update and maintain planograms, merchandising guidelines, internal webpages and team sites.
  • Validate merchandising compliance and provide store guidance and training as needed.
  • Partner with category managers and marketing promotions team to concept, present and execute seasonal programs and promotions to drive revenue and volume goals.
  • Monitor and execute vendor funded promotions.
  • Collaborate and build strong partnerships with store, supply chain and sales team to ensure proper inventory levels and correct product assortment per region
  • Analyze sales data, market trends and competitor strategies to benchmark product and program offerings

Qualifications

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in merchandising, marketing, retail management or a related field is preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in visual merchandising or related fields, with strong knowledge of product assortments, space / floor planning, and creative design
  • Strong creative and design skills, with proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)
  • Travel to retail locations may be required periodically

What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between 57K to 76K annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
