Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

 

We are seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Lead to lead the integration of complex logistics systems, including SAP modules, carrier and forwarder platforms, and third-party freight audit & payment tools such as US Bank Syncada and transportation management systems like RMS TMS by C.H. Robinson. This role will oversee cross-functional projects that streamline supply chain operations, improve system interoperability, and enhance overall logistics efficiency.

  • Lead end-to-end project management for logistics systems integration initiatives involving SAP logistics modules (e.g., SAP TM, SAP EWM), carrier and forwarder systems, and third-party tools such as US Bank Syncada freight audit & payment and RMS TMS by C.H. Robinson.
  • Manage integrations using EDI, APIs, and other platforms to ensure seamless data exchange between carriers, forwarders, financial systems, and logistics platforms.
  • Develop a clear vision for system processes, communication strategies, and reporting frameworks to enhance transparency and decision-making across stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including IT, logistics, procurement, finance, and external vendors/carriers to define project scope, requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, manage resources, track progress, mitigate risks, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of integration projects.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between business units and technology partners, facilitating clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate system testing, user training, and rollout of new or enhanced logistics systems to ensure smooth adoption and minimal disruption.
  • Monitor and report project performance, KPIs, and post-implementation results to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts by identifying integration pain points and recommending scalable solutions to optimize logistics processes.

 

Qualifications

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience managing complex logistics or supply chain technology projects, preferably with a focus on SAP logistics modules, freight audit/payment solutions, and transportation management systems.
  • Strong experience with systems integrations involving EDI, APIs, and other platforms to enable seamless connectivity across logistics and financial systems.
  • Solid knowledge of SAP ECC, SAP TM, and SAP EWM logistics modules.
  • Solid knowledge of logistics systems and third-party tools including US Bank Syncada and RMS TMS by C.H. Robinson.
  • Proven track record in project management with excellent skills in planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $97,000-$127,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
