What Drives Success

The Communications Specialist II will support the execution of communication projects for both internal and external audiences. This role will focus on content creation to ensure consistent, engaging, and timely communication across the organization.Reporting to the Director of Corporate Communications, this role brings the Lennox brand voice to life across a wide range of formats, including press releases, social media, video scripts, and internal communications.

 

In this role you will:

  • Write, edit, and format content for internal publications, intranet, and digital signage.
  • Maintain and update content on the company intranet and Viva Engage platforms.
  • Coordinate the distribution of internal communications across multiple channels.
  • Process communication requests and collaborate with internal clients to understand communication needs and provide editorial support.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand and editorial guidelines and is delivered on deadline
  • Draft and distribute press releases and media advisories in alignment with corporate messaging.
  • Support media relations efforts, including responding to inquiries, coordinating interviews, and maintaining media contact lists.
  • Assist in the development and scheduling of social media content across platforms to support campaigns, announcements, and brand engagement.

What We Are Looking For

 

The successful candidate will be a strong writer and editor who collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to develop and distribute communications that align with company messaging and brand standards.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field in journalism, communications, public relations or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience with 2-3 years preferred
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $63,000-$83,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.

Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 12 days paid time off, 2 paid well-being days, 1 paid volunteer day, 12 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year.
