What Drives Success

What You Will Be Doing

  • Responsible for developing, executing and maintaining fabrication and assembly operations to assure that all products manufactured by the organization meet customer demand.
  • Develops a long-term strategy for the improving quality and safety results.
  • Align Manufacturing Organization with Quality Assurance objectives and work closely with other members supporting Lean-Sigma initiatives.
  • Actively participates in the implementation of strategies in a cross-functional manner.
  • Maintains log of shift operations.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment with production, purchasing, engineering, sales, quality, finance, human resources and other stake holders within the organization to achieve overall company objectives required.
  • Inspects product to verify production specifications are met.
  • Reviews production schedules, material and manpower resources.
  • Assigns employees to maximize production objectives, maintain quality and attain output requirements.
  • Participates in establishing and modifying operational methods and processes by recommending changes in materials, equipment and procedures.
  • Maintains a variety of reports, records and production documentation to reflect schedules and performance.
  • Trains new workers in the organizations operating procedures and standards.

What We Are Looking For

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, business or other related major.
  • 5 to 10 years proven track record of increasing responsibility, pro-active, operations or production management in fast-paced environment(s) required.
  • Direct HVAC, Six Sigma/LEAN manufacturing experience strongly desired; Six Sigma certification a plus.
  • Solid analytical, interpersonal (including coaching, facilitation, conflict resolution) and verbal/written communication skills required.
  • Strong planning, project management, and organizing skills required.
  • Solid working knowledge of Lean production management and quality integration concepts and a proven track record of change implementation are required.
  • Current and thorough knowledge of PC software applications, including Microsoft Office products and project management software required.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment with production, purchasing, engineering, sales, quality, finance, human resources and other stake holders within the organization to achieve overall company objectives required.

What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $94,000 - $123,900 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.

 

Benefits: Subject to applicable eligibility requirements, the following benefits are offered for this role: tuition reimbursement; medical, dental, and vision insurance; prescription drug coverage; 401(k) retirement plan; short-term disability insurance; 8 weeks paid birthing leave; 2 weeks paid bonding leave; life and long-term disability insurance.

 

Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 12 days paid time off, 2 paid well-being days, 1 paid volunteer day, 10 paid holidays, and 1 floating holidays per year.
