What Drives Success

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations for manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This role ensures maintenance work is executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with production needs. The Maintenance Supervisor leads a team of technicians (Maintenance I–IV), prioritizes work orders, monitors performance, and coordinates with other departments to maintain high equipment availability and plant reliability. This position balances hands-on technical knowledge with strong leadership and planning skills. 

 

  • Supervise, coach, and develop a team of maintenance technicians across all levels (I–IV).
  • Plan & prioritize daily maintenance tasks, preventive maintenance schedules, & emergency repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Monitor and manage team performance, including attendance, safety practices, skill development, and work quality.
  • Coordinate with production, engineering, and planning teams to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations.
  • Ensure proper documentation of work orders, PMs, repairs, and parts usage in the maintenance system.
  • Support root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring equipment failures and assist in implementing corrective actions.
  • Oversee spare parts inventory and requisition supplies or contractors as needed.
  • Ensure maintenance activities comply with OSHA, environmental, and company safety standards.
  • Lead or participate in projects involving new equipment installation, process improvement, or facility upgrades.
  • Provide technical guidance and assist with hands-on troubleshooting when needed.

What We Are Looking For

  • Provide technical guidance and assist with hands-on troubleshooting when needed. 
  • Technical degree or certification preferred. 
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance, including leadership or lead technician responsibilities. 
  • Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. 
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage workflow, and communicate effectively across departments. 
  • Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking work and reporting. 
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles a plus. 
  • Ability to read technical documents, schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals. 
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, reliability, and team development. 

 

Physical Requirements

  • Standing, stooping, lifting up to 50lbs, walking, and climbing ladders. 
  • Work may involve exposure to mechanical parts and heights.

What We Offer

Compensation

This is a salaried exempt role.  The salary range for this role and market is between $72,000 - $94,500  annually.  Factors that may affect the starting salary include geography/market and the individual’s tenure, performance, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. 

Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.  Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
