What Drives Success

The Office Manager, FDC is responsible for overseeing efficient implementation of all Regional Operations administrative functions. Responsible for managing RDC operations in addition to the RCD office.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervises and supports an administrative support team and distribution associates.
  • Supports regional LPPs with administrative and SAP systems expertise.
  • Oversees regional freight tendering for carriers. Evaluates transportation and distribution networks to maximize delivery efficiency.
  • Oversees distributions shifts including the receiving, storing, packing, and shipping of merchandise or materials.
  • Work with RDC management to ensure all Safety training, documentation, and postings are completed and maintained.
  • Ensures all incidents and publications are communicated and posted appropriately.
  • Resolves problems such as damaged goods or shipping errors.
  • Responsible for customer service in operational issues.
  • Supports order management, records management, and developing budgets.
  • Maintain SOX key warehouse controls with direction from RDC and financial management.
  • Facilitates the generation of reports, maintenance logs, and assist with maintaining metrics.
  • Responsible for training, developing, mentoring and managing the performance of the distribution center's employees.

What We Are Looking For

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
  • Requires at least 8 years related experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures including handling exceptions.
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record may be required.
  • Able to motivate and manage a team.
  • Knows the principles and processes for providing customer services.
  • This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Knows industry and regulatory trends.
  • Requires excellent negotiation skills.
  • Excellent ability to plan and implement complex order delivery requirements.
  • Requires good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have computer literacy in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Requires some experience with general office applications such as FAX and EDI.
  • Expert user of SAP for distribution operations.

What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $76,000 - $95,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
