What Drives Success

As a Sr. Manager, Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance at Advanced Distributor Products, you will be responsible for ensuring that equipment and facilities in the Grenada, MS plant are well-maintained and functioning per business needs. You will lead two teams responsible for different functions – an engineering team responsible for the manufacturing equipment and a maintenance team responsible for the upkeep of the facility.

 

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Manage two teams: a team of manufacturing engineers, technicians and administrative staff and a Maintenance leader and their team.
  • Organize project and task workloads and select individuals who are most qualified for assignment on specific projects.
  • Direct the teams to ensure progress according to business objectives, within budgetary and schedule guidelines.
  • Review and submit Capital Expenditures, and manage them upon approval.
  • Reviews product design for manufacturability and work to improve quality and ease of assembly support functions.
  • Direct Manufacturing Engineering efforts to reduce costs of assembly and plant operations.
  • Support assembly operations by partnering with the production workers and production leadership team on analysis and suggested improvement in assembly processes.
  • Ensure the engineering and maintenance teams are engaged with other teams throughout the plant, including but not limited to: safety, production, materials, distribution.
  • Responsible for facility, equipment; ensuring that it is maintained and functioning at or better than design specifications often through leading teams.
  • Participate in plant safety efforts and actions, including maintaining a safe and clean environment.
  • Perform RCA (root Cause analysis) and implement corrective and preventive actions to equipment failure.
  • Extensive knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance and equipment reliability.
  • Support with new equipment evaluations and installations and new assembly process development.

What We Are Looking For

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires at least 8 years related experience. Requires at least 3 years experience as a manager.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $131,000-$164,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
