Building Climate Solutions (BCS): A $1.8B segment that provides indoor comfort solutions for low-rise office buildings, restaurants, retail establishments, distribution centers, schools, and other light commercial applications, as well as commercial refrigeration solutions to preserve food and other perishables in supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, warehouses, and distribution centers in North America.  Our HVAC service business focuses on comprehensive protection, preventive maintenance, planned replacement, installation, and recycling for schools, restaurants, and retail establishments nationwide. HVAC products include packaged rooftop units, split systems, VRF, and indoor air quality systems.

 

The Lennox Commercial HVAC business has ~3,000 team members with one manufacturing site in Stuttgart, Arkansas and a second manufacturing site in Saltillo, Mexico.  We manufacture, sell, and distribute unitary heating and cooling equipment used in light commercial applications, such as low-rise office buildings, restaurants, retail centers, churches, and schools. Our product offerings for these applications include rooftop units with cooling capacities ranging from 2 to 50 tons and split system/air handler combinations with capacities ranging from 1.5 to 20 tons. We also sell and distribute Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) equipment with similar tonnage capacity.  The business primarily goes to market through two major channels: National Accounts (direct to customer) and Districts (through commercial contractors).

What Drives Success

The Director of Revenue Operations is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing Revenue Operations and Training and Enablement for the LCH business. This role is crucial to the growth initiatives of the Lennox Commercial HVAC business.  The Director will oversee the Sales Operations team, which is responsible for providing strategic insights, managing the commercial excellence journey, owning the opportunity model, designing and implementing customer segmentation, coordinating the marketing funnel, determining resource deployment for the commercial team, allocating quotas, designing compensation plans, and managing other critical data and processes within the team's charter.  Additionally, this role includes oversight of the Training and Enablement team, which oversees the creation and execution of sales, product, and technical training programs for the LCH business.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Sales Operations

  • Oversee Sales Operations by integrating all sales, channel, and service activities into a unified Revenue Operations group. Create synergies to directly drive and support revenue and optimize field organizations.
  • Provide strategic leadership to maximize sales, margin goals, and customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize key productivity metrics, collaborate with regions for accurate sales planning, and enhance CRM systems to accelerate growth and ensure predictable revenue through unified processes.
  • Offer strategic direction on priorities, market trends, systems, reporting, process improvements, and compliance to improve operational performance.
  • Oversee quota setting, allocation, and sales compensation design to ensure fairness and appropriateness.

Training and Enablement

  • Accountable for championing change adoption and management, supporting usage of technology tools, developing Sales Playbooks, and formalizing career pathing, job leveling, and competency models.

What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
