What Drives Success

We are seeking a driven, self-motivated Sr. Manager, Financial Shared Services to join our team working for a dynamic company in a fast-paced shared services environment. This position will ensure compliance with accounting standards, manage a team, and take a hands-on approach to our accounting operations. In addition to the day-to-day accounting responsibilities, this position will also work closely with management in a variety of ways to support segments and business units. 

 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Lead and manage financial shared services functions such as Cost Accounting and accounting related to cash activities
  • Perform monthly accounting and close procedures along with the accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise on business issues related to cost accounting and cash functions
  • Review account reconciliations to ensure account balances are accurately stated
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes to consistently improve accuracy and efficiency of processing transactions while improving internal controls
  • Support internal and external audit requests
  • Collaborate with business units to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.
  • Lead the strategic development of cost accounting and cash operations to enhance efficiency and scalability in a shared services environment 



What We Are Looking For

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA and/or MBA highly preferred
  • 7-10 years of experience with evidence of assuming roles of greater complexity, responsibility and accountability
  • Manufacturing / heavy industry experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles
  • Demonstrated understanding of internal accounting controls
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proactive attitude with team oriented, collaborative working style
  • Advanced Excel ability required
  • SAP and Hyperion experience required

What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $130,400 - $171,150 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
