JOB TITLE:     Mechanical Engineer

 

LOCATION:    Carrollton, TX (hybrid role, may work from home)

 

DUTIES:

  • Design, fabricate, modify and evaluate mechanical and electro-mechanical components, sub-systems and systems;
  • write test procedures, compile and evaluate design and test data and prepare technical specification;
  • recommend design approaches to meet production requirements for new or improved products or processes;
  • coordinate with technical support personnel to conduct prototype or experimental runs for products or processes;
  • coordinate the efforts of drafters, technical writers, engineering technicians and machine shop personnel as required in New Product Introductions (NPI), Material Cost Reduction (MCR), and quality improvement initiatives, along with a focus on process and product optimization within the domain of Lennox HVAC products.

What We Are Looking For

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field, and 1 year of experience in the job offered or as a Mechanical Engineer, or in a related/similar position working on heat transfer, thermodynamics, refrigeration & air conditioning or HVAC product design, data analysis in industrial engineering & management, and computer aided design.
  • In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of experience, employer will accept a Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in the fields stated above and completion of university-level coursework, school research project, internship, or thesis involving the skill sets stated above.
  • Hybrid role, ability to work from home.
