What Drives Success

As the Senior Manager, Factory Materials, you will lead the material planning, inventory control, storage, shipping and receiving functions at our growing plant in Orangeburg, South Carolina. In this high visibility, high impact role, you will have the opportunity to completely re-design the material system and flow within the plant.  Your ability to develop cross-functional teams, influence change and drive results will lead to your success in this role. 

 

You will be trusted to:

  • Create the strategic vision, and tactical management including execution of the following:
  • Identify and execute on re-design material system and flow through the plant maximize production efficiency through effective material planning and inventory control
  • Track and report on the status of purchase orders, manufactured parts, and inventory levels for production departments.
  • Review existing procedures for accuracy; recommend and implement improved procedures when necessary.
  • Forecast plans for anticipated materials requirements.
  • Lead, manage and develop material planning and receiving teams.

What We Are Looking For

Requirements:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 8+ years related experience with 3+ years experience as a manager or project manager.
  • Must be able tow work well in high pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with lean methodologies and demonstrated experience as an effective change-agent.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with leadership team(s).

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with operations, inventory management, MRP, planning and scheduling.
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal skills to effectively communicate with other departments.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong, team-oriented relationships with co-workers.
  • Ability to assess, adapt, and overcome challenges and obstacles on a daily,  weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Expert knowledge in SAP, Excel, Access.

Other Work Requirements

  • This is an on-site role based in Orangeburg, SC (This position is 100% onsite)

What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $115,000 - 151,200 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
