As a Commercial Sales Support Specialist, you will:

• Manage account relationships.
• Create and manage daily customer quotations.
• Negotiate plan and spec jobs with respective house accounts.
• Complete order entry, order maintenance, and management of the order delivery process.
• Manage weekly bid schedule.
• Prioritize projects and communicate bid dates and times, coordinating quoting responsibilities and objectives with Commercial Territory Managers.
• Manage the quote follow-up process, including updating weekly open quote reports, updating the CRM to reflect quote status, and coordinating with 3rd-party vendors.
• Assist in credit and collection activities.
• Manage the order credit approval process to avoid delays and past due orders.
• Prepare and manage submittals and orders accurately to reduce manual overrides and allowances.
• Coordinate and manage quotes and orders in accordance with guidelines for residential districts.

• Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred. Requires at least 1 year of related experience.
  Requires strong abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating, and managing time.
• Requires knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
• This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
• Knows principles and processes for providing customer service.
• This includes customer needs assessment, meeting service quality standards, and evaluating customer satisfaction.
• Effective at written and verbal communication.
• Requires intermediate industry and product knowledge.
• Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.

This position offers a base salary and a commission-based plus bonus incentive plan. The total target compensation range for this role is $62,480 to $82,005 (90% base salary plus 10% commission, assuming attainment at plan), and the role also qualifies for additional business objectives incentives. Compensation is based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and education.  This is a new role with one open position.  

This position is based in the office, Monday through Friday.
