What Drives Success

We are seeking a highly capable and forward-thinking professional to join our team as Safety Engineer III. This role requires an individual with demonstrated expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to operate with a high level of autonomy. Candidates should bring a strong record of hands-on performance, practical application of knowledge, and the capacity to make decisions that support safety, operational excellence, and organizational growth.

 

In this role, relevant experience, proven capability, and documented performance are considered equivalent to formal education. We strongly encourage applicants who have built their knowledge through real-world application, industry practice, and progressive responsibility.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regional Distribution Center and Lennox Stores primary internal auditor.
  • Execute daily responsibilities with a strong commitment to safety, compliance, and operational integrity, and auditing.
  • Apply technical knowledge and situational awareness to solve problems, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company goals, regulatory expectations, and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports supporting operational continuity and compliance.
  • Exhibit professional judgment when prioritizing competing demands, managing workflows, and communicating recommendations.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and recommending process enhancements.
  • Represent the organization with professionalism, clarity, and accountability.

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications:

  • Equivalent combination of experience and education: (Bachelor Degree with 5-7 Years Preferred):
  • A minimum of 6 years of directly relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • Candidates with a proven track record of industry‑specific success are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand, interpret, and apply policies, standards, and technical procedures.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced or evolving environment.
  • Proven history of reliability, initiative, and consistent performance.
  • Proficiency in basic computer systems, documentation tools, and field‑specific technology.

What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $93,000 - $121,800 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.

 

Benefits: Subject to applicable eligibility requirements, the following benefits are offered for this role: tuition reimbursement; medical, dental, and vision insurance; prescription drug coverage; 401(k) retirement plan; short-term disability insurance; 8 weeks paid birthing leave; 2 weeks paid bonding leave; life and long-term disability insurance.

 

Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 12 days paid time off, 2 paid well-being days, 1 paid volunteer day, 12 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year.
