What Drives Success

The Account Development Representative will play a crucial role in driving business growth for Lennox Residential by generating qualified leads, building relationships with potential customers, and supporting the overall sales process. This position will coordinate with internal support functions such as Sales Effectiveness, Sales Intelligence, Business Development, and Marketing to ensure that all processes are followed, and that critical information and activities are captured throughout the lead management process.

 

The Account Development Representative will be responsible for prospecting efforts for specific Territories and Districts, collaboration with the sales team on key sales activities, and utilization of the Sales CRM (Salesforce.com) for data capture and tracking. This position will work within a cross-functional team structure to deliver on initiatives that directly impact the sales of the company’s products and services.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Conduct targeted outbound prospecting to identify and qualify potential customers within specified geographic areas. Provide comprehensive support for outbound events, including outbound calling, scheduling appointments for Territory Managers, and developing effective route plans.
  • Utilize various channels, including phone calls, emails, and social media, to engage prospects and generate interest in Lennox products and solutions.
  • Assess the needs of potential customers to determine if there is a fit with Lennox products and services.
  • Collaborate closely with the field sales team to hand off Sales Qualified Leads (SQL’s) to contribute to the development of a robust sales pipeline and ensure a consistent feedback loop on lead / contact quality to foster a cycle of continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to effectively position Lennox as a leader in the HVAC space.
  • Provide valuable insights and feedback to the marketing and sales teams to enhance overall market strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, stores, marketing, and customer experience teams, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain clear and concise communication with prospects to educate them about Lennox offerings and value propositions.
  • Utilize Sales CRM tools (Salesforce.com) to track and report on key performance metrics, including lead generation, conversion rates, and pipeline development.
  • Provide regular updates to team leadership and sales leadership on progress, challenges, and opportunities within the assigned geographic areas.
  • Generate Sales Qualified Leads (SQL’s) by following up on those from marketing, industry events, or from outbound calling and ensure that low-quality leads are appropriately handled and not unnecessarily passed on to the field sales team.

  • Location: Richardson, Texas (This position is 100% onsite, requiring attendance in the office 5 days a week, Monday-Friday).

What We Are Looking For

Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 1 year related experience.

Demonstrates moderate technical knowledge of assigned systems. Familiar with relational database concepts, client-server concepts, and industry requirements. Must be able to communicate effectively with both end users and IT staff. Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.

What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $71,000 - $93,450 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.

Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 12 days paid time off, 2 paid well-being days, 1 paid volunteer day, 12 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year.
