Heatcraft Refrigeration is a long-standing leader in the world of commercial refrigeration, providing climate-control solutions. Their state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in the cities of Stone Mountain and Tifton, Georgia, produce evaporators, condensers, compressor racks, and other top-quality refrigeration products for their six market-leading brands: Bohn, Larkin, Climate Control, Chandler, Magna Industrial and InterLink. Heatcraft products are primarily used to preserve food and other perishables in supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, warehouses and distribution centers, in addition to other applications such as data centers, pharmaceutical and industrial process cooling.

What Drives Success

Location: Stone Mountain, GA (100% Onsite)

 

The HR Generalist II plays a key role in supporting day-to-day human resources operations across multiple functional areas. This position partners with leaders and employees to deliver HR programs, ensure compliance, and drive a positive employee experience. The role also analyzes HR data to provide insights and recommendations that support business objectives.

 

  • Support a broad range of HR functions including recruitment, compensation, benefits, training, compliance, and employee relations
  • Partner with hiring managers on recruiting efforts, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates
  • Assist managers with job evaluations and organizational structure updates
  • Interpret HR policies and provide guidance to employees and leaders on workplace matters
  • Conduct employee relations activities, including investigations and exit interviews
  • Facilitate new hire orientations and support onboarding initiatives
  • Analyze HR data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations
  • Support and advise leaders on employee relations best practices
  • Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide guidance and support to junior HR team members as needed

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources (preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1+ years of HR experience in a generalist or related role
  • Working knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws
  • Experience with HRIS systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on improving processes and efficiency
  • Ability to build relationships and work effectively across all levels of the organization

What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $63,000 - $83,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.

Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 12 days paid time off, 2 paid well-being days, 1 paid volunteer day, 10-11 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year.
