What Drives Success

We are seeking a process-driven people leader to join our dynamic ADP Engineering team.  As a Supervisor of Product Engineering, you will lead a team responsible for translating product designs into accurate, manufacturable, and supportable solutions. You will oversee CAD design activities, ensure accurate bill of material (BOM) setup and ongoing maintenance, and drive sustaining engineering efforts across the product lifecycle. This role partners closely with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and product management to resolve technical issues, implement product improvements, and maintain design integrity. You will provide technical leadership, prioritize workload, establish best practices, and ensure engineering standards, documentation, and change management processes are consistently followed to support on-time, high-quality product delivery.

 

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides leadership in collaboration with other engineering functions including design, process, production, quality, and reliability.
  • Analyzes production methods to ensure time and cost goals are reached.
  • Ensures procedures efficiently utilize materials and personnel.
  • Creates design specifications for a variety of complex components and systems.
  • Analyzes advanced design problems using engineering and mathematical principles.
  • Makes design changes and prepares preliminary sketches for guidance of layout drafters.
  • Coordinates major engineering projects.
  • Consults with other engineers concerning design specifications, manufacturing processes, legal, safety, and government requirements.
  • Leads, directs, evaluates, and develops team members.

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Requires at least 5 years related experience.
  • Good understanding of residential HVAC systems and components.
  • Expert understanding of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
  • Experience with analytical and CAD software.
  • Requires advanced knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Strong discipline in process documentation and follow up on commitments
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
  • Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in handling large amounts of data and maintaining data integrity.
  • Deep knowledge of BOMs, and associated upstream and downstream processes (PLM, ERP).
  • Experience in ISO-certified or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Understanding of AHRI USE OM.
  • Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.

What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $106,500 - $139,750 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
