What Drives Success

The Manager, Distribution Operations Liaison serves as a primary support partner and liaison to the Director of Distribution, working closely with regional distribution managers and facility leaders across the network. This role focuses on day‑to‑day operational support, communication, coordination, and issue resolution, helping ensure alignment between corporate partners and field distribution operations.

The role is designed for an experienced distribution professional who excels in communication, relationship management, and operational follow‑through, and who can effectively support leaders in a fast‑paced, multi‑site distribution environment without direct authority.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

 

Director & Leadership Support

  • Act as a trusted support resource to the Director of Distribution, assisting with preparation, follow‑up, coordination, and communication related to distribution operations.
  • Support the Director in managing priorities, tracking action items, and ensuring timely follow‑through on field and corporate requests.
  • Assist with gathering operational information, summaries, and updates to support leadership decision‑making.

Field & Regional Liaison

  • Serve as a consistent liaison between regional distribution managers, facility leaders, and corporate support functions (HR, Finance, Safety, Engineering, IT, etc.).
  • Support field leaders by helping coordinate responses to questions, concerns, and escalations.
  • Assist with deployment of corporate guidance, policy updates, and communications to ensure clarity and alignment in the field.
  • Help connect field leaders with appropriate resources and partners as needs arise.

Distribution Operations Support

  • Provide operational support related to staffing coordination, scheduling considerations, service issues, safety topics, and general distribution center needs as directed by leadership.
  • Assist regional and facility leaders with onboarding, transitions, and operational changes by coordinating communication and support.
  • Support consistency in operational practices by helping share expectations, updates, and learnings across sites (without ownership of process redesign).

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Prepare presentations, summaries, talking points, and reports for the Director of Distribution and other leaders.
  • Facilitate clear, timely, and professional communication between corporate teams and field operations.
  • Adapt messaging appropriately for different audiences, including senior leaders, managers, and hourly teams.
  • Promote open communication, responsiveness, and collaboration across the distribution organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of experience in distribution, warehousing, or logistics operations.
  • Strong working knowledge of distribution center operations, leadership structures, and field challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to support leaders, coordinate across teams, and communicate effectively at multiple levels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting multi‑site or regional distribution environments.
  • Prior experience working closely with senior operations leadership.
  • Familiarity with corporate support functions and field‑based operations.

Travel

  • Occasional travel to distribution centers or regional offices as needed (estimated 20–30%).

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of experience in distribution, warehousing, or logistics operations.
  • Strong working knowledge of distribution center operations, leadership structures, and field challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to support leaders, coordinate across teams, and communicate effectively at multiple levels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting multi‑site or regional distribution environments.
  • Prior experience working closely with senior operations leadership.
  • Familiarity with corporate support functions and field‑based operations.

What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $107,200-$140,700 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.

Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 12 days paid time off, 2 paid well-being days, 1 paid volunteer day, 12 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year.
