What Drives Success

As a SEO/AI Analyst Lead you will serve as the company’s subject matter expert for organic search and AI-driven discovery. You will lead SEO, AEO, GEO, and AI search optimization strategy across Lennox’s digital ecosystem, partnering closely with marketing, UX, product, content, and engineering teams to drive measurable growth in visibility, traffic, and conversions.

This is a senior individual contributor role that combines hands-on execution with strategic leadership. You will define roadmaps, guide cross-functional teams, and elevate the capabilities of junior SEO and content resources while ensuring search best practices are embedded across digital experiences.

  • Own and evolve the enterprise SEO and AI search optimization strategy across Lennox digital properties, including B2C, B2B, ecommerce, and support experiences.
  • Serve as the company’s primary subject matter expert for SEO, AI search optimization, answer engine optimization, structured content, and emerging search trends.
  • Build, manage, and communicate SEO and AI search roadmaps that align with business goals, customer needs, digital platform priorities, and measurable performance outcomes.
  • Partner with marketing, product, UX, analytics, technology, ecommerce, content, and business stakeholders to ensure SEO and AI search considerations are included early in digital planning.
  • Conduct technical SEO audits and guide improvements related to crawlability, indexation, site architecture, metadata, structured data, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, redirects, and overall site health.
  • Develop content optimization strategies that improve organic visibility, customer usefulness, topical authority, AI answer visibility, and conversion across key customer journeys.
  • Translate SEO data, technical findings, industry changes, and competitive insights into clear recommendations for technical teams, business partners, and leadership.
  • Define, monitor, and report on SEO and AI search KPIs, including visibility, rankings, impressions, clicks, organic traffic, engagement, conversions, indexed content health, and emerging AI search visibility signals.
  • Support backlog creation and prioritization by writing clear SEO requirements, optimization briefs, acceptance criteria, and implementation guidance for development, CMS, ecommerce, and content teams.
  • Coach and guide junior SEO, technical, and content team members through best practices, quality reviews, reusable guidance, and knowledge sharing.
  • Help the organization navigate the rapidly evolving search landscape, including SEO, AIO, AEO, GEO, and AI-powered discovery, by translating trends into practical testing strategies, content structures, and measurable improvements in AI answer visibility

 WHAT DRIVES SUCCESS

Having the right qualifications is only a part of what it takes to be a successful employee. At Lennox International, we believe in following a set of behaviors and competencies to achieve your full potential. In this position, it is vital that you embody these core competencies:

  • Strategic Search Leadership: You understand that search is no longer just rankings and keywords. You connect SEO, AI search, content strategy, technical implementation, customer intent, and business outcomes into a clear plan that helps the company compete in a changing discovery landscape.
  • Technical and Analytical Expertise: You can diagnose complex SEO issues, interpret performance data, identify root causes, and translate findings into practical recommendations. You are comfortable working with technical teams, content teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and Influence: You build strong relationships across marketing, product, technology, and business teams. You can influence without direct authority and help partners understand why SEO and AI search considerations matter.
  • Ownership and Execution: You are comfortable moving between strategy and hands-on work. You can build a roadmap, prioritize work, audit a site, write requirements, review content, analyze performance, and follow through until improvements are delivered.
  • Continuous Learning: You stay current in a rapidly changing search environment. You actively monitor changes in Google, Bing, AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot, answer engines, and other emerging discovery platforms.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience creating SEO strategies, roadmaps, recommendations, content briefs, business cases, technical requirements, and implementation guidance.
  • Experience conducting technical SEO audits and translating findings into prioritized actions for developers, product owners, content teams, and business stakeholders.

  • Experience working with CMS-driven websites, ecommerce platforms, content governance processes, and cross-functional digital delivery teams.
  • Experience supporting SEO in Agile, product, or backlog-driven environments, including creating requirements, acceptance criteria, and prioritized work items.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present recommendations, risks, tradeoffs, and results to technical teams, business partners, and leadership.
  • Experience coaching or guiding junior SEO, technical, or content team members is preferred.
  • HVAC, manufacturing, B2B, dealer/distributor, or ecommerce experience is a plus.
