What Drives Success

Lennox National Account Services (NAS) is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support the development, implementation, and administration of safety programs across our commercial HVAC service operations. This position will work closely with Operations, Branch Managers, Area Managers, Human Resources, and field technicians to promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA requirements, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The Safety Coordinator will provide day-to-day support for safety initiatives, incident management, training, compliance activities, inspections, reporting, and continuous improvement. This role is well suited for an individual who is organized, proactive, comfortable working with field operations, and passionate about creating a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development, implementation, and administration of NAS safety programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations and applicable federal, state, and local safety requirements.
  • Partner with Operations leadership to identify safety risks and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct and/or coordinate branch, jobsite, vehicle, and field safety inspections.
  • Maintain safety documentation, records, certifications, and compliance reports.
  • Assist with updating safety policies and procedures based on regulatory or operational changes.
  • Support the implementation and ongoing administration of safety programs across NAS locations.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Health & Safety, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 2+ years of experience in safety, EHS, compliance, operations, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with both corporate leadership and field employees.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel to NAS branches and customer/job sites as needed.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting commercial HVAC, mechanical, construction, facilities, or field-service operations.
  • OSHA 30-Hour certification.
  • ASP, CSP, CHST, or other safety-related certification.
  • Experience conducting incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
  • Experience developing or delivering safety training.
  • Experience working across multiple locations or geographically dispersed field teams.

What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried nonexempt role. This means that employees are paid a salary and also receive overtime pay when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law). The starting salary range for this role and market is between $45,000 – $55,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate Employees in this role are also eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.
